Q: How many band members are allowed to participate in Land the Big Gig^® Contest?

A: A band may have as many performers as you see fit. However, travel will only be provided for up to six (6) band members to participate in the finals if that band wins. All band members in excess of six (6) would be responsible for their own travel expenses to Milwaukee.

Q: Who is eligible to enter Land the Big Gig^® Contest?

A: You must be: 1. At least eighteen (18) years of age as of the date of entry, 2. Who are legal United States residents that are physically residing in one (1) of the 48 contiguous United States or District of Columbia. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions, overseas military installations and where prohibited or restricted by law and 3. A: Only the following formats are acceptable video formats: mov, .mpg, .wmv, .m4v or .mp4.

Q: What is the maximum length for video submission?

A: No more than 180 seconds in length in its entirety.

A: Check to make sure that you have uploaded a video that is an acceptable file format or does not exceed the maximum file size, 50 MB.

A: You will receive a confirmation email from landthebiggig.com after your video is successfully uploaded. Your video will then be reviewed to confirm that it qualifies for Land the Big Gig^® Contest as described in the Official Rules. Once reviewed it will either be accepted or rejected. If accepted your video will be posted to Land the Big Gig^® Gallery.

A: It does not meet the guidelines and requirements set forth in the Official Rules.

Q: If my video is rejected am I able to re-submit a video for my band?

A: Yes, you may resubmit your video up to four times before you will be disqualified and no longer allowed to submit a video.

Q: How are the finalists for Land the Big Gig^® Contest selected?

A: The five (5) bands with the most public votes from all of the eligible bands that entered during the Submission Phase will be selected as potential Semi-Finalist Bands. Semi-Finalist Judges will score each Semi-Finalist Band according to judging criteria explained in the Official Rules. The three (3) Semi-Finalist Bands with the highest Semi-Finalist Judges' scores will be declared potential Finalist Bands.

A: The three (3) Finalist Bands will be announced on or about June 19, 2013.
